The Raptor® Wash Press combines
two stages of washing and two stages of compaction/dewatering into a single-screw
design to minimize screenings weight and volume. Its reversing function crushes and breaks
up materials for improved cleaning and the forward motion washes and compacts
screenings. This two-stage process reduces screenings volume by more than 50
percent and weight by more than 67 percent, creating lower disposal costs and
saving money at the plant. As an
automated unit, the Wash Press can handle an influx of flow and keep up with
other equipment at an installation. Properly managing peak flows, no
additional equipment is needed to treat screenings before entertain the inlet
hopper. Plant
operators and engineers prefer the Raptor®
Wash Press for its simple operation and minimal maintenance. |
